Founded in 2002, the Craft Retailers’ Association for Tomorrow (CRAFT) is a not-for-profit, professionally managed association, of storefront retailers of American craft. Retailer members inventory generally consists of ceramics; blown, fused or stained glass; fine woodworking; furniture; jewelry; metal work; sculpture; textiles; wearable art and a myriad of other items – folk to funk, traditional to avant-garde, decorative or functional. The common thread is that an individual or small groups of artisans generally make the items in the United States. Vendors of products and services to retailers as well as craftsman can also belong to the association as Associate members.
